Barcelona veteran defender, Eric Abidal said if the decision of Barca not to renew his contract at the Nou Camp is quite difficult to accept. In a meeting with the media yesterday, Abidal has announced his departure from Barcelona at the end of this season. This means that contra final match Malaga in La Liga 2012/13 as well be his last.
During six years in Barcelona, 33-year-old French defender was claimed to have a beautiful memory, both socially and related achievements. But his true passion Abidal still had to play a few more years.
"I did not take a decision, because when your contract is not renewed, you have no other choice," said the French defender.
"The decision is difficult club to be accepted, as part of my struggle is not only for families, but also for my club."
