Lotus Kimi Raikkonen does not panic if it decides to join Red Bull next season. Team principal Eric Boullier admitted that he had had a 'Plan B'. This week, Boullier was asked to Finnish racer soon make a decision at least August. If Kimi chose to go, this Lotus boss claims to have set up another plan.
"I always have a plan B and we are in a favorable position in the pursuit of some big names, we are a team of the most desirable," said Boullier, gpupdate quoted on Friday (07/12/2013).
"Many of the drivers who spoke to us, so after a known situation and we need a new driver I have a plan B, but I do not want to talk about it," he continued.
Meanwhile, despite seeing his side is ranked fourth constructor, which Lotus behind 23 points from 26 points from Ferrari and Mercedes, Boullier believes Lotus can still finish in third place.
"We can accept it was fourth constructor, but that's not the plan. We are very confident to fight again. Position 3 should be achieved, "added Boullier.
