Jorge Lorenzo is still awaiting the results of a medical examination after an accident on the second free practice session of the German Grand Prix at Sachsenring Circuit on Friday (07/12/2013). MotoGP official Twitter wrote, "The test results showed no damage to the titanium plate in his left shoulder @ lorenzo99 (Jorge Lorenzo), may need further surgery. Further info will follow."
About 20 minutes later, MotoGP returned writes, "Lorenzo di Clinica Mobile will undergo further checks at the medical center. Seems not to be fit to race with additional damage to an injured left shoulder."
This incident such as repeating events two weeks ago when Yamaha Factory Racing rider fell on the second practice session at Assen. With the new left collarbone surgery, Lorenzo remained down on the Dutch GP and managed to finish fifth.
At the German GP this weekend, Lorenzo managed to record the fastest time in the first practice session and four in the second practice despite only completing three rounds.
